Steamboat Marathon

I signed up for another marathon!  I will be one of 500 runners running the Steamboat Marathon.  My goal in training for this marathon will be to get in shape and have a good time doing it.  My goal for the race is to have fun and enjoy the beautiful scenary.  I would also like to run even splits... and finish before the maximum course time!
The Steamboat Marathon was voted on of the top 10 most scenic marathons in the US.  The course begins at historic Hahns Peak Village, follows a paved country road down the Elk River Valley, and finishes at the courthouse in downtown Steamboat Springs. Starting elevation is 8,128' and the finish elevation is 6,728'... so it's definitely a downhill marathon.  Should be pretty tough as downhill is much harder on your body.
I'm looking forward to the challenge!
